I've actually planned to make 24th dec my thanks-giving day and post what I want to say on this blog. Apparently I could not make it on time and today is 25th dec=P
hmm. . . how should I start?
I think I'll just type the names one by one from now on, not in any order(X
People I really want to thank:
1. my parents- thank you for every single thing you do, be it teaching me how to walk or scolding me when I did not do well for my tests and exams etctetc. Also, thank you for allowing me to participate in the dance performances during the last day of school when I was 4 and 6 respectively. I really love performing:D Just want to tell the both of you that in this little 5-room flat of ours, I can always feel the love from the two of you, and of course from my brother and sister=P I do hope that we can live together for many many more 16 years!
2. my dance instructor from 2002 to 2004, 叶月琴老师- I thank you for giving me so many opportunities to dance and to perform, though you know that I'm seriously not as flexible as other dancers in the dance group. I know I do not deserve to stand at the so-called 'most prominent' positions as I'm not the best dancer but yeah, you would, without fail, place me at those positions. That explains why I never show attitude to you when you scold us dancers or nag at me when I did a wrong step, instead I gave you a smile + a paiseh look. haha.
3. my CL + HCL teacher cum teacher-ic for dance at bvps, Mdm Ng Siew Hong!- WOW! She's the BEST teacher on earth! She's extremely knowledgeable and she's a very dedicated teacher as well(: She always prepared her lessons well and we could always learn more than what's on the textbook, unlike some other teachers who. . .zzz. . .thank you thank you thank you!!!
A few months before the psle, she started giving us chinese test papers(which amounted to I dunno which 3-digit number) for us to practise and that was really helpful :D Not to forget, she actually forked out money to buy us starfruits and some mixture with birdnest before our singing and dancing competitions. In those two years, I think it's 2003 and 2004, after we clinched the championship for the singing and dancing competitions, she treated us to swensens leh. I just want to thank her for her kindness and her words of wisdom over the years(:
4. my chinese dance instructor in nanhua, 陈彩妨老师- just like 叶老师, she's also one who did not mind about my inflexibility. Thank you thank you! She once said to me while she was exerting some pressure on my legs to make them split wider, "小茵, 你最遗憾的就是身体很硬hor?" That's true, hahas. I was lucky to meet a second teacher who gave me many opportunities despite . . . ya lah, you all should know by now =C
5. my dance instructor in nanhua from 2005 to 2008, and also for chingay`09, Mr Low!- thank you thank you thank you! He made me um chio and go pheww~~ because he always tells us that he doesn't mind teaching those who are lousy, he just hope that we are willing to 拼, so I just follow xD He is one who gives opportunities to others all the time and yeah, I'm grateful to him too. Whenever he choreographs a section of a dance piece which requires movements like split, he would just ask who can do it and ta-da! he just split us into groups lor(X He's the third dance instructor whom I met and yeah he's just like the previous two instructors and yeah again, I know I'm really lucky!
6. 205`06! there's beatrice supeng fangyu qianyi jiayu lingzhuo siyi elena serene jessica roanna sharmaine peijun jasline me amanda yuanyuan brandon bryan presley jingyew eddie kelvin chaohsien kenny yishuo zhipeng melvin zishuo john weijiang weiliat yisen nicholas kailun klinsen cherhan jerome kendric jack xiahao :D everyone of us forms a part of 205 and I'm glad that I have all of you as classmates, as we were promoted to upper sec, I started to miss you people.
6.1 To beatrice- hua mei!!! I will always remember that 美好的时光! thanks for being such a sweet friend xP
6.2 To supeng- thanks for accompanying me to the dance audition!
6.3 To fangyu- foofy! thanks for the herbal tea when I lose my voice, the your care and concern and your words of encouragements during the period of Os(:
6.4 To qianyi- thanks for helping me to solve some complicated maths problems and the love you always show to me (*burp!* hahas. rmb that time near jollibean?) (:
6.5 To jiayu- thanks for sharing with me some fashion tips and being there for me all the time, oh and of course those nice nice de presents!!!
6.6 To lingzhuo- thanks for helping me with my homework, you are really clever!
6.7 To siyi- thanks for the funny jokes you shared with me during some random mrt rides and sometimes in school!
6.8 To elena- thanks for lending me your notes when I couldn't finish copying down the key points. you're a super caring girl!
6.9 To serene- thanks for feeding me the yummy prawns during chalet!!! yum yum~~
6.10 To jessica- thanks for the job opportunity, for helping in food preparation for chalet, for being such a funny friend(chicken goes "quackquack!' in jessica's wonderland! =P)
6.11 To roanna- thanks for the customized pen, forhelping me out whenever I could not handle some things on my own!
6.12 To sharmaine- thanks for the short chat each time we met on 106 and walked to school!!!
6.13 To peijun- thanks for the lame jokes in school and when we met during mrt rides over the years!
6.14 To jasline- thanks for being such a nice friend, you don't talk much but you're still very friendly and sweet!!
6.15 To ferny- thank you being sooooooo ferny? LOL!
6.16 To amanda- thanks for the biscuits you shared with me when I didnt go down for recess, for being my lab-mate for four good years!! in physics lab i see you, in chem lab i see you, in bio lab i also see you, amanda yeo is everywhere!!! LOL! XD
6.17 To yuanyuan- thanks for being my good buddy to eh~hm!! hahas. 淘气二人组! weird name we have, but that's funky =P
6.18 To brandon- thanks for the "YO! YO!" when you see me each time in school! LOL!
6.19 To bryan- thanks mommy for helping me out here and there!!! yeah, I forgot why he became our mommy since sec2-.-
6.20 To presley- thanks for the your infectious laugh last time and for teaching us table tennis!!!
6.21 To jingyew- thanks for being my classmate, we don't really talk to each other often, but I know you have a good heart(:
6.22 To eddie- thanks too for being my classmate, and the hihi byebye with a smile, I know you're nice(:
6.23 To kelvin- thanks for being my classmates for four years and for being such an efficient bio rep=P
6.24 To chaohsien- thanks for sharing with us more about yourself during chalet, you changed alot!(into a more friendly friend xD)
6.25 To kenny- hua di! thanks for teaching me amaths lah, I know you're much better than me in maths! :D
6.26 To yishuo- thanks for teaching me how to sing the dumbdumb "this is a song that doesn't end" when we were sec 2! LOL xD
6.27 To zhipeng- thanks for bringing so much joy and laughter to our class and to nhds!!!(:
6.28 To melvin- thanks for, hmm... allowing me to say " happy belated birthday" whenever I see you in school, it was a weird practice though. LOL!
6.29 To zishuo- thanks for being my classmate for four years! (you always speak the opposite of the reality, like you said you are extremely bright and uses 1% of your brain cell each time you take an exam-.-)
6.30 To john- thanks for being such a nice friend and for standing out to help organize some things(you're soo like a sister, of course a younger one lah=P)
6.31 To weijiang- thanks for the smiling to me when we see each other and for helping us to take photos!!!
6.32 To weiliat- thanks for "The News Pig" art piece! hahas. you're so talented in drawing such things!
6.33 To yisen- thanks for being my classmate in the lower sec, don't be shy huh(x
6.34 To nicholas- thanks for being my classmate in the lower sec too, eh you did grow taller leh. LOL
6.35 To kailun- thanks for contributing your eh xbox? I dunno what's the name=P and thanks for being such a nice friend!
6.36 To klinsen- thanks for bringing 205 glory during the EL dunno what competition and also for the super duper -.- purple passion!!!!!!!!!!! LOL xD
6.37 To cherhan- thanks for being my classmate, hahas. should have talked to you more often(:
6.38 To jerome- thanks for being such a nice maple-mate! LOL!!! I can remember that you gave me some items in maple and that your character is a female! xD
6.39 To kendric- thanks for guiding me in maple too!!! LOL. I know you're allergic to birdnest as you wrote it on the list for sec1 orientation camp`05 -.-
6.40 To jack- thanks for being such a zzz friend and also for joining us at kbox! you can really sing! (x
6.41 To xiahao- thanks for being my classmate, though it's only a short period of time!(:
7. form teacher for 205`06, Mdm Chia L K!- hahahaha. thank you for being our form teacher, without you, I think, we would have less hilarious memories, which means a not so exciting sec2 life, though we had a very fun NDP experience that year=P
8. co-form for 205`06, Mr Benny Ng- thanks alot for the book 'From Kuan Yew To Chok Tong and Beyond', I really enjoyed reading it! :D
9. my senior for primary & secondary school(hopefully JC too :p), Audrey Ho!- I really really got to thank you, for asking me to join nanhua dance society since I was in primary 6. You know, I was so uncertain if I should go for dance audition if I really choose dance, or rather, if I was even able to make it into dance, because of my flexibility worries me A LOT :C And thank you for your guidance all along(:
10. my seniors, they're good friends, elise and melissa- thanks thanks for approaching me to help me when I was a blur sec one. I won't forget that you two actually told some of us at one corner of the hall to do a little stretching ourselves to prevent injury when we're dancing(:
11. all other seniors and juniors, who helped me in a way or another(: there's so many names but I just cant type them all out, you know? hahas. hmm. . . and thanks wenhui for grabbing my hand whenever you see me but I didnt notice you in the bukit batok area just to say a warm hello(X oh and, jinghui yilin and angelina for walking home with us for months after dance practices! There're other juniors who walked home with us as well, like yinkar, jia en, lili, celia, luhong etcetc
12. my mrt-mate cum dancemate, lihuan!- thanks for teaching me all those chim~y things and helping me in maths and physics and also discussing all those fun facts. You're a wonderful friend:D
13. yangyang- mehhmehh thank you for giving me reasons to smile, nono, laugh, nono, giggle. . . LOL! Also thanks for being such a cute friend!! ( favourite quotes are 'lameshit!' & 'what are friends for?' LOL! anymore? xD)
14. wenxuann- pretty girl, thanks for being a pretty role model! LOL! thanks for laughing at I-forgot-about-what with me outside mac after our syf practices XD
15. stephanie(mingyue)- thank you for guiding me in dance when I'm in doubt, for helping me do 下腰 and lots of oither things!!
16. daphne, deborah, gladys, siying, shuling, sylvia, alyssa, peixuan, yueli, hannqian, jiayu, katharine- thanks for being such wonderful and thoughtful dancemates + friends all these years, always helping me whenever you can(:
17. xenia and yanting!!!- thanks for being responsible care reps for our class. thanks xenia for your kind offer and for teaching me your own chicken flavour version of chawanmushi! thanks yanting for playing 黑芝麻, 白芝麻 with me whenever I'm bored, oh and those lame jokes you crack!
18. may lim!- thank you for the hahahas and lalalas, for being an understanding colleague and for taking the mrt ride home with me after work!!! xD
19. joanne tan!- thanks for being so patient and answering numerous questions from me in class, you are really great!
20. all 406`08 classmates- thanks for the surprise birthday song just before physics common test one this year and thanks for making the mathematics classes so full of live :P
21. my primary school dance senior, Hong QiaoTing!- qiaoting!! thanks for being such a nice senior and for taking care of us all the time just like a sister :D
22. all my primary school friends and classmates- thank you all of you for being my friends(X thank you sri vinod, anamica, evelyn and lekshmi for teaching me EL.
23. my primary schoolmates+ dancemates, shiqi and wendy!- yeah, they are crescent dancers and also Mr Low's students!!! We only know it near the end of 2005, and we're currently in the same dance item for chingay`09!!! thanks for the love, fun and experiences you two shared with me!<3>
24. thank you to my primary school teachers who treated me so well!!!!

On top of that, I would also like to thank all teachers who had taught me, and all other friends not mentioned above(paiseh=P). Oh and thank you those who went pa and said hello to us all, or smiled to us. hahas.
